Kaskade
Ulrich Eller uses the metal cladding on the side of the Herzog Anton Ulrich-Museum overlooking the park as the site of his acoustic intervention. The sounds hone in on open structures of time and unexpected movements. The acoustic effects take up the architecture’s optical austerity: lines and dots are interpreted through sound. The aim is to transform the architecture’s facade into a “curtain of sound”. The intermingling of visual and audio elements - the essential phenomena through which we perceive the world - is made tangible.
